PETALA 25 & THE REBIRTH

A daydreamer, a subculture pagan, and a nature lover, KAWI is also a self-taught illustration artist from Melaka. Having painted from a young age, he has gained extensive experience through art competitions and exhibitions. Often using plants, birds, and animals as the subjects of his work, he incorporates subculture elements to depict messages and stories about love, rebellion, and freedom.

Tiny winged seeds surf the winds of nusantara forest, dancing with birds of all colours,

symbolise the abundance of freedom and happiness this land brings.

May the seeds continue flying for thousands years.
